so this is what well be seeing soon:

Some base tune configurations for common bolt ons

Custom tunes

Super and turbo tunes

AND now we just need someone to do all the tuning.

One question I have is that since the model number of the flashpro is the same, does that mean that hondata dealers can offer a reflash for the 09 tsx also once its available?

I emailed a hondata dealer asking about this, maybe theyll be interested in trying to dyno tune an 09

The hondata dealer (located on north ny/nj border) is going to confirm with Hondata if their dealer flashpro units can be used on our TSXs.

If yes, that means reflashes are possible also at a lower price point, however I dont even know if Hondatas released any base maps for the car

Im very interested though in seeing something happen, maybe I can get my hands on a rv6 PCD and get a dyno tune done

So the hondata dealer confirmed they should be able to tune the 09 with me, and now im in a dilemma because I have no money for both the PCD and a dyno tune

I could just go without the PCD, but its probably more worth it to wait

Heres the deal, Xenecron in NY can tune for us. IT would be 350 for the flash license from Hondata, and another 450 for a custom all motor dyno tune in their facilities.

If anyone has a TSX and the potential (NY/NJ), you would be the first person to do this kind of work. I will help put you in contact with them and set everything up. From what I understand according to xenecron Hondata has made some calibrations already for the TSX

It probably end up working down the road with just a flashpro manager/firmware update. Hondata has probably not tested it on the '11-'12's so they're not going to slap their approval on it. They released flashpro for the 1G TSX's right before Christmas.

I have a 06 SI now with Flashpro and i plan on trading soon for a 2cd gen TSX so i am very happy to see this.

You guys will be amazed at what flashpro can do to completely change the car for the better.

Also i dont know if every 1 is aware of this but opposed to dyno tuning E tuning is also available and is extremely popular with 8thgen civics.

I want a 2012 6 speed or a used 2010 six speed to avoid a first year model.

Working on the bringing the car back to stock now so i can see what my options are.

Looking at some used TL Type s as well.

I was really excited when this was announced back in May. Couldnt wait to see what the early adopters would do with this piece.

According to dyno runs from optimus this flash pro is only netting 7 1/2 HP and no gain in torque with his downpipe and takeda intake.

Damn that is disappointing. Im always looking for affordable bolt on power but $650 for 7 1/2 HP isnt very worth while.

yea, but the flashpro allows him to maintain safe afr, ignition, and cam angles...it is worth getting even despite the "minor" gains...at least for the sake of engine longevity.
