Custom exhaust on V6, yes or no??

aiiight so i did the search and not many have posted about custom catback especially on a v6.
so for those with experience with aftermarket v6 exhaust and all else please chime in, cause the last time i upgraded exhaust it was on a b18b/92 si, things have changed.
so the point, would going with a larger diameter custom catback on my v6 for one, any gains worth the $$$$?? and two, would it sound nice with a couple resonators on each side?
what is the stock piping on v6 anyway?
i keep reading "cai dont do shit w/o exhaust" so i thought ide do exhaust but i dont wanna spend an arm and a leg on prefabricated name brand exhaust.
opinions?

hell yeah, read up on the 3G TL side.
lots of guys run custom exhaust.

unfortunately, its something that its ever evolving in finding the right combination for your liking.
might add a resonator here, change mufflers there, etc.

If you find a quality place definitely give it some serious thought, and let us know what mufflers you decide to run with them !

read u p on the 3g tl side.
most are doing 3inch diameter.
which provides the most gains.
