I'm entertaining the next summer mod to do to my 2012 TSX i4. I've considered new wheels, lowering or an exhaust. I'm leaning towards an exhaust, specifically a catback. I'm mostly interested in sound; performance is a bonus.I will not be considering a header/downpipe due to it adding additional rasp (may be manageable, I'm not going to find out right now). Being made in Japan is a big bonus for me. Here is a roundup of available options (note i'm not including eBay/generic solutions).

I love the Fujitsubo, from looking at their work it seems to be made withe excellent craftsmanship. BlackhawkJapan has it in stock for $~800 but their site only offers one DHL shipping option that costs $1,000! I'm going to contact them and ask if they have other methods available. I do have friends in Japan, maybe they could help. Tanabe and Greddy are also excellent options as well, the Tanabe being the lowest costing option.

Any recommendations? Did I miss any? How often to catbacks for the CU2 show up in the used market?

Define "performance" What are you expecting in terms of a performance upgrade, are you expecting your horsepower numbers to go up dramatically?

Performance is not a concern because this isn't a performance car, at least in a stock state like it is. A bit higher end torque while sacrificing a bit of low end power?

Do I need to tune the car in order for it to accept the new exhaust? The guy in this video is saying the fuel cuts off around 4k RPMs, i'm assuming because of the new exhaust:

^at neutral, fuel cutoff is at like 4k or 5k. and I briefly scanned through that guys vid and that's all he did was stay in neutral.
no, you don't have to tune it

Ah, makes sense. Good catch! Minus in between gears I've never revved the car in neutral that high.

I originally fell in love with the Fujitsbo...

But I have been liking the Tanabe more and more and thinking I'm going to go with that one -- the sound has just grown on me a lot more since initial impression

May couple it with RV6 PCD and HFC
