Navi voice playback

Please help!!!!!!!

As I'm driving and scrolling for music that's playing through USB, the voice playback will automatically read the title of the song (or songs as I'm scrolling down). It gets very annoying because the sound of music shifts to the rear speakers and the voice playback comes on from the front speakers.

Anyone know how to disable it so that I can scroll/search for music without having it read to me by voice?

I'm not 100% sure, but it might be Setup->Interface Dial Feedback->Off.

Which model year do you have? On the 2011, it's on page 25 of the Navi manual. Press the info/phone button then choose setup > interface dial feedback. The default is set to AUTO (only does it when the car is moving). The other choices are OFF and ON (always reads it).

Car is in the shop but once I get it back, i'll definitely configure these settings in. I drive a 2009 model.

Thanks y'all, I hope that this will solve my problem.

Are you using a thumb drive, Ipod, or other MP#?

I'm using a USB Flash Drive 4gb. It's kind of slow when loading songs though. The numbers will show first before the name titles when scrolling for music. It's holding 3 folders each with 100+ songs. I'm trying to find a quicker flash drive to use..
