Very annoying. Everytime I put in a new route on the nav or it recalculates a current one, I get various weather warnings that I have to click through. And mostly useless stuff like flood warnings that are 100 miles away. The other week I was getting daily "Gale Warnings" from the atlantic coast, and I live in Chicago!

I've searched and searched, and maybe I'm missing something, but how do I disable these weather warnings and alerts?

I don't know of the top of my head, but I saw it somewhere there in the settings while I had it during the 3 month trial. I have never resumed the XM service and am not missing it at all.

Keep playing in the settings menu, you will find it somewhere. Or look in the manual.

I am posting because I've already played around with it and searched the manual, but can't find anything. I feel like there has to be SOME setting to disable weather alerts but for the life of me I just can't find it.

Nothing you can do, from what I can tell. I have the same issue. It makes the navigation system virtually unusable if there is a nearby weather event.

Well I ended up renewing only XM radio and traffic. Did not renew the weather portion of the subscription for this very reason--you can't turn off alerts! Do you know what was totally annoying though? Anytime you take a different route and the Nav system recalculates your current position, you will be forced to click through the very same alert. Over and over and over and over and over and OVER again. An amazing oversight and completely annoying.
