Bluetooth question

Just purchased a 2010 TSX (Non-Tech). Very happy with it so far. However seems like the Bluetooth connection is not that great. I can hear the other caller however they are having a hard time listening to me. They say its very choppy. Not sure what could be the issue and what I could do to make it better.

Also - some on this forum said they "plugged the phone in" for better quality- not sure what that means?

Lastly - off topic - the seat belts in the rear seats are very hard to buckle in - especially since I have two kids in the back and the seat belt buckle is inside the seat and has to be pulled out (even then, it doesn't come out that much). Quite inconvenient. They can't buckle themselves in. Wanted to know if thats the case with everyone...Had a Honda Civic before and it wasn't this bad.

Thanks in advance.

Don't have problems with my bluetooth ('09 Tech), but agree that the rear seat belts are a pain in the arse for booster seats. Just ordered an extender from:
http://www.ecrater.com/p/7857999/gra...belt-extension

I'll report back on whether it actually fits properly.

Thanks for your responses.

I have an the old "flip" open phone. Its an LG model and my wife has a Samsung model. Do you think its because the phones aren't that new?

Also - in the forum a couple of people have said that they "plugged" their phone in to make the quaility better - what do they mean by that?

Thanks in advance....

I think they mean (1) they plugged their phones in a car charger (maybe more power = boost in Bluetooth signal) or (2) they plugged their phones in the USB port in the TSX to probably achieve the same thing.

Thanks for sending this site. I am going to probably order two. Let me know how they are when you get them. Getting the kids buckled in theor booster seats is a real pain in the ..... in the TSX. Hopefully this is a good solution.

I have no problem with BT for both BB or Moto phones.

Thanks for the belt extender link, I had a hard time with my two kids on the booster seats buckle in also.

One more thing....I have been noticing that sometimes when my wife calls me from the TSX using bluetooth - I can't hear her. When I call her back - its the same thing. However at other times it works fine? Could there be something wrong with the bluetooth?

Received the seat belt extender. Works great and the beige color even matches the interior pretty well (they have other color options as well). Ships from China though, so took about 2 weeks to arrive.
