Anyone had this problem before? Is it a quick fix or a dealer fix? Still under warranty, but the dealer is 200+ miles away

For those of you keeping up with this thread, the controls magically started working again with no intervention!

When they first stopped working, I had turned my car off and then on again a couple of times (at the start of my trip, after I went through a drive-through), but the problem persisted. I turned on the car two days later, and they started working again.

I can only guess that the controls weren't initiated on the initial turn-on and that I needed to wait a while for the system to reset or something (I'm not a mechanic and don't know much about car electronics either, so this is purely a guess)...
