What's the mileage on your car?
Curious as to what mileage people have on their cars and your purchase date. I guess I'm bored. And this Q came to me when I was wondering if there was a specific mileage one should wait for to go from regular oil to Synthetic.
Anyway here are mine.
Purchase Date: July 2008
PWP (wife's car) = 18,273 kms or 11,354 miles
PMM (mine) = 24,346 kms or 15,124 miles.

As far as oil changes since i'm family to my Acura dealership here in hawaii and i'm sure everyone else is treated like family at where you bought your acura. I was given free oil service for 2years! At my dealership I was told Synthetic isn't necessary. You are just
paying more for the type of oil. It's like you prefer starbucks over going to mcdonalds for coffee! LOL! So in my opinion oil is oil. Just keep up with the maintenance and your car will run perfectly fine! It won't make your car gain 100more horse power. Remember its the torque that matters! Anyways guys enjoy driving and owning an awesome car Acura delovped and be proud! Take it easy guys. Aloha

Jan 09-about 7100 miles
Changed the oil the first time (with synthetic) at a little over 5k miles (around August). Our thought was, even before I bought it, it had been sitting on the lot for quite awhile, might as well give it some fresh oil.

I drive a lot. 36,000 miles since Sept. 2008 and I have a Jeep that I use most weekends.
Oil Changes by the dealer every ~ 12,500 miles per the computer. Its amazing how the computer really factors in driving style, because my cousin has the same car and has to get oil changes every 7,000 miles or so.
