Want to protect my TSX!

I finally put my TSX on the road, and just drove it to the gym and love it so far! it looked really great when i was walking to get into my car after the gym. (Felt like a boss =P)
But this is my first really nice car, worked hard to get it and i want to protect it much as possible.

So I am going to go to autozone and get door protectors because my brothers love to close doors hard!

Also I ordered clear door handle scratch guard protector film

I plan to get clear 3mm film for my headlights, just looking for a place to get it.

Anything other things you guys use or can think of to protect my car from daily use? Even if its simple, itll will be a great help. Of course I will think of more things as I start driving it more.

They have clear bra films on ebay that are pre cut for our vehicles. I ordered one and it is still holding strong after a year. no discoloration at all. the material is thick, not to thick, and installation is easy. I payed about 40 for half the hood, front bumper, side mirrors.

Get a garage, put the car in there, and never move it.

Things will eventually happen out on the road.

I had a 3M clear bra on my 06 TSX since I purchased it new 8 years ago. This is worth the investment if you do a lot of traveling. I covered the front end, side mirrors, headlights and fogs. The great things about 3M clear bra is the 5 year free replacement warranty and UV protection for headlights against hazing. My headlights are still crystal clear in the NM sun. I can wash and wax the 3M film just like the rest of the car.

Don't forget to protect the inside. All weather mats and trunk tray will keep your interior cleaner and smelling nice for years to come. I have all weather mats in all 3 of my Acuras.

I also tint the windows and use a windshield sun shade year round when I park outside (security and UV protection).

I plan on buying one for the bumper, and applying it once the weather gets better.

did nothing special to my 06 tsx-I waxed and quick detail it-the trunk is the only part that seems to be fading.

so is car wash necessary? I mean, so you would need to soap up on a micro fiber towel or a sponge right?

I dont have any clear bra on mine. I try to just keep the entire car clean inside and out and corner park to minimize the possibility of door dings. Its also garaged which doesn't sound all that important but helps in the long run.

Oh, stay away from Wallmart parking lots. They are full of Chevy Astros, crapped out Aerostars, and 2door Monte Carlos.
