Wagon bumper guard

This looks nicer than Acura's or Lamin-X film to add some protection to the top of the bumper. However, they say it fits the sedan. Does anyone know if the curve is the same on the wagon? It does not fit the entire width so, if the curve is the same, I would assume it fits.

It should fit the wagon. I had them cut a custom one when they did my 3M film. Can't even tell its there.

The mfgr told me they checked and it does not fit the wagon. I ended up getting the Acura product and it seems fine.

No point in a photo, you can hardly tell it's there. It is quite thick and contoured to fit the bumper perfectly. Also nice that it bends over the bumper edge a bit. My husky always manages to dig her claws in there when jumping into the back of the car.

thanks Tim.

here is the plastic one.

It could work but doesnt match the bumper line exatly.

also you have to be careful with the bottom of the hatch so it needs to be positioned all the way to the rear edge of the bumper. then it clears the hatch.

im undecided just yet..........

There is a much cheaper solution than OE that may actually work better. Autozone and other stores sell clear film on a roll that can be cut to size. I've used it for door sills but there is no reason why it can't be used for the bumper.

I bought a 6 inch wide roll from Pep Boys for something like $10. I used it to do the back bumper on my R32 and the door sills as well as the bumper and door sills on my wife's old Honda and still have about a half roll left over..

I tend to do the door sills (the area from the sideskirt to the plastic doorsill cap) because that area often gets beat up by shoes.

Yeah, most are narrow. I found this one hanging next to adhesive chrome tape - also wide. It was on closeout so it probably isn't a good seller. Any clear bra installer should be able to cut you a piece as well.
