Wagon: anybody remove overhead seatbelt?

I find it annoying as hell with the window/s open on the passenger's side — the damn seatbelt flutters like a loose part on an airplane. I never use back seats, keep the backs down so the dog has more room. I could simply cut it, but my luck I'd be left with a streamer and put a hole in the headliner. Perhaps you have already solved this problem... and, can tell me how you did it. Thanks.

This is belt is for the middle rear passenger? Doesn't the belt just tuck up into the headliner?

There are essentially 2 buckles for the middle belt - one that's the initial anchor and the other that's the buckle the passenger fastens when in the car. The anchor buckle has a 1/8" wide slot in it that you press the passenger blade into in order to release it. Next, the entire thing reels into the ceiling and there's a slot there to stick the anchor blade into and you're done. You'll hardly notice it.

Thanks you guys.... Dumb C'hit here never really looked at it?! Probably 5min after I bought it, I lowered the seat backs, carved up an old oriental to fit ...and started bitching. Clever little buggers; the solution is really quite creative. Of course, I also failed to RTFM. Thanks again.

It tucks into the headliner. There are two slots for the buckles.

That's what I mean about 'creative'. Yet, sometimes 'creativity' well overshoots intuition. Fricking Germans are good for that!
