VTC noise over 3K RPMs for first few minutes

Great, another VTC thread I had mine replaced under warranty and as expected it still makes the grind noise, although now its not as frequent or as loud/long when it does. I am wondering if all of these engines also make a similar grind noise when the car is above 3K rpms on a cold engine. For example, going out for lunch today the outside temp was about 45*F (Not bad for February if I dont say so myself). During the 5 minute drive, the car's thermostat reached operating temp. If I go over 3K I hear this faint, but noticeable grind noise. I'm assuming it is because the oil hasn't had a chance to reach/saturate the VTC actuator area, but it really sounds like the engine is rattling and I hate it! It lasts for about 5 minutes of driving during this winter. It did this before I got the VTC actuator replaced as well.

The car is still under warranty, but I don't think there is much the dealer can do. Does anyone else experience this?
