do you think the OEM are anything different......

the gas pedal is pop riveted over the factory pedal
you remove the factory rubber and replace and use rivets to hold that on.

and the dead pedal just pops in.

Look at previous post #80. Cheaper to buy this from Strut King for $69 if you don't need the dead pedal covered. Strut King told this. http://www.strutking.com/products/TL...edal-Set.html#

If you look at the pedal it is... but for some reason acura only sells the entire thing. even if they just sold the actual pedal and not the electrical assamebelly that would work to...

Installed the Strut King TL MT 3-pedal set + OEM Acura Dead Pedal from the 2012 SE in my 2009 CU2. Dead pedal is direct replacement of the rubber pedal, Strut King brake and clutch pedals covers are bolted through the metal pedal plates and the accelerator cover is screwed into the accelerator pedal with 6 self threading screws. Very secure and good looking pedal set and mod IMO.

You could also buy the SE brake pedal to go along with the dead pedal. Then all you would need is the gas pedal cover from strut king and your kit would be complete!
