TSX Sport Pedals

Just curious, does the new TSX comes with sports pedals like the TL-S?

This is the CDM Honda Spirior (aka Acura TSX)

Thanks in advanced

No sport pedals for the new TSX I don't think there is even an option for it as an accessory.

is there anything like this with metal grips? So my feet don't slip when it's snowing outside and my shoes have no traction?

Was this a direct bolt-in or did you need to customize it?

Where did you get this kit from if you don't mind my asking.

^It's direct bolt on (actually rivet on for the pedals) and snap on for the dead pedal. Genuine Honda part # 08U74-TL0-600 from the Lings UK. Tried to get one from Japan, but they don't sell MT models there.

Lings UK (www.lings.com) is selling both MT 08U74-TL0-600 and AT 08U74-TL0-600A for around £106 each or ~US$160 plus shipping which is around £40 or ~US$60. They ship via UPS and you will normally receive it in 7-10 days after order. Order the speaker rings at the same time, part # 08Z03-TL0-600E £60 or ~US$90 and save on shipping charge.

Sport Pedals

Sorry to be drumming up an old thread. I was over at TacomaWorld forums looking at what mods I would like to do to my Tacoma. Low and behold a thread comes up about sport pedals for our trucks. Anyway one of the members listed this website as to where he got his since Toyota/TRD no longer offers a set. It wasn't that I was amazed someone actually offered an options for our cars, I was amazed how many different finishes and styles they offered. Looks like the TSX will be getting next round of disposable income instead of the Tacoma.

I used the 04-08 TSX sports pedals on my my 09 TSX and they fit pretty well. Installation was a challenge.
-Dead pedal is a few mm bigger but super easy install by drilling. 1min
-Brake pedal has to be drilled through after removing the rubber. 5 min tops
-Gas pedal is a pain in the a$$. Took over an 1/2 hr to install. Had to take a small piece of plastic off to get the bottom screws in. ugghhh

But after the hard work they feel and look great.

you can order the SE dead peadl for like 35.xx US.

it just pops on.

I bet you could order all of the SE 2012 ones for way cheaper than importing.

go to one of the oem parts sites and put in an SE go to the pedal page and VIOLA.......

at least for the dead pedal.

On the StrutKing site, it said this for the pedal set:
Will this set fit my 2009+ TSX?
The footrest from this pedal set will NOT fit 2008+ models without modification to the original pedal; the accelerator, brake/clutch will however fit the 2008+ Accords.

I have the 2009 TSX 6MT, so wonder if this pedal set will fit mine at all? Brake/clutch/accelerator pedals for 2008+ Accords are the same for 2009 TSX 6MT? Can someone clarify this please? The separate footrest pedal fits only 2004-2008 TSX's according to their description. Footrest pedal cover isn't all that important for me. Where's the link to the MT 4 pedal set at Heel Toe? It only shows the 3 pedal set for the automatic.

You could also get the dead pedal and brake pedal from acura and just purchase the gas pedal from StrutKing, which is what I did. The brake pedal comes with the rivets and everything to install.

strutking had a group buy, bought the entire 3 pedal set for $53 shipped, then got the dead pedal from Honda for $40 shipped....so if anybody wants the strutking dead pedal - I have one. It will work, just need to dremel-trim the plastic dead pedal about a 1/2 inch.

The dead pedal cover is $39 from Acura, which is off the 2012 TSX SE. Will this fit my 2009 TSX without trimming anything? If so, I could complete the pedal mods with the MT set from Strut King for $89 for a total of $138, a lot cheaper than getting the full Honda set from across the pond.
