TSX to NSX? opinions

well before i made any decisions i researched the hell out of the car searching the vin, carfax even got in touch with the previous owner, there is a lot more than the seller is telling me, the carfax is very very sketchy, if anyone cares to search the vin and look for yourself (JH4NA1156PT000403) the car was involved in an accident that wasn't reported to car fax it damaged some body panels under the exterior sheet metal around the rear trunk (causing leaks and rust), the rear bumper were pulled out and repainted and everything was fixed which explains the paint job, the seller tells me he has owned the car for over a year, carfax shows the title hasn't been updated to an owner other than dealer transfers,
he told me the Science of speed exhaust that was installed was $3500 when it was only $1200 (according to previous owner who purchased and installed) I'm almost inclined to go to the dealer with my buddy and make him realize he doesn't know what he's talking about,
i may appear in person with title in hand and make him an offer
my final price considering the concealed damage is my trade in TSX-$17k + $5-6k cash on top,
if he says no so be it, i dont think its a good deal for anymore out of pocket cash than that and i guess it wasnt meant to be..
what you guys think?

I've own my NSX for 3 years.. all I have to say is that it's probably one of the best car I've driven and own.. Last week I sold my daily 04 TSX.. so I'm enjoying the NSX as a daily till I find a new daily..(hopefully the 2011 TSX)
so if you really want it. buy it.. you won't regret it..

Do both!! keep TSX as daily grind and NSX for weekend warrior lol. Love my NSX hate the costly repairs and parts but its not something you'd wanna drive daily. if your looking for more of a sporty, cost effective, low maintenance car I highly recommend S2000.

Agreed!!
The s2000 is an amazing car and is a blast to drive. They are hard to come by. We got a 2007 with 9k miles 1 owner traded in at my Honda dealer last year and I grabbed it for my wife.
She loves it and I don't mind driving it when she wants to drive my 2nd gen TSX The NSX is a bad ass car but if you look at what your can get price wise for years and miles, and your drive one, you will forget about the NSX.
My wifes is bone stock. 3 of they guys at my dealership have s2ks as well. One is on his 3rd. He has carbon hood, dropped, full exhaust system, cold air intake, supercharger ect.
Its sick. Ill have to take some pics and post it.
I would recommend 06 and up.
06 added the following features:
-Drive be wire throttle system
-VSA vehicles stability assist aka traction control (my wife spun out in her 05 s2k twice in the rain so after a month of owning it, traded for the 07)
-Day time running lights
-Speakers in the headrests HUGE difference. (You can hear the sound going 90 MPH on highway)
-Maintenance minder system
That is all
