During the football games on ESPN, Acura has been running TSX ads. I don't think I've ever seen a TSX commercial... it's either a MDX, TL, or generic Acura spot, but never one just for the TSX.

What's their thinking?

They had tsx ads last model year. It touted the frame safety and I think showed the sedan morph into a wagon. I saw the TSX and TL commercials during college ball today... Sexy cars :-D

That's quite a Sumptuous ad, I absolutely adore it <3. Unfortunately, us country folk have barn dances instead of club dances.

Sadface. Ours is $33,990 for a pov pack base model with no HIDs, Leather, Foglights, Sunroofs standard etc and yours is $32,910 with the Tech pack (Dollar is near parity).

Oh, how I envy your markets car prices and standard equipment. Lucky folks.

Yeah it's pretty lame how much more a car costs on the other side of the world. I've compared Audi, BMW, MB, Honda, LR, etc euro/australian prices to our USA prices and man people must make a decent amount of money compared to the cost of living in these countries. I bet if they raised our prices up significantly on cars here, it wouldn't fly by to well with the consumers. We like a lot of standard features for reasonable prices. Also manufacturers cater to different markets.

Acura sponsored ESPN college football in the morning (cheaper than to sponsor the evening primetime, which I think was Geico). They were probably selling the entry level TSX to college students and soon to be college graduates.

Great observation... didn't think of the marketing scheme.

Of course that says I'm crap at 41 driving a TSX (but I do have a 2005 RL).
