Trouble starting TSX - battery about to go?
This afternoon I needed to clean out my garage so I backed my car (2012 TSX, about a year and a half old) out of the garage onto the driveway and left it there. Later this evening when I went somewhere, my car had difficulty starting - it felt like it took 10 seconds or so, but it eventually did. After going a few different places tonight, it's started right up without issues.
If I had to guess, the unusually cold winter has taken a toll on my battery and it probably doesn't have much left. When I backed the car out, since it was only running for a minute, it wasn't long enough for the battery to get recharged. Just wondering if my theory makes any sense, and if I should expect to come out to a completely dead battery in the coming weeks. Thanks.

your theory makes sense the tsx batteries are trash. it could be something related to your charging system, but i doubt it. you should be on warranty so they might check and replace your battery. if you want to replace it your self just buy something form your auto parts store with more power.

Most auto parts stores or battery places can load test your battery. It could narrow down the problem is the battery test OK.

I really just need the battery to hold out for a few more weeks, I have a 2015 WRX on order that should be arriving in April. Then the battery can become someone else's problem
