Transmission fluid color

Hi all,

When I purchased my TSX from Carmax it was a Acura loaner car before and everything was serviced by the dealership. at 25K the fluid was changed but now that I checked the flood is like a new engine oil color. Did Acura change the fluid color? I know the TL on the 2006 was red.

Thanks

ATF is dyed red, over time it will darken and this is normal.
As long as it's not black/burnt.

So approximately 16k miles on new fluid color changes that fast?

A fluid change doesn't change ALL the fluid. Actually, most of the fluid will still be "old".

You're fine.
