Took my TSX on a mountain run.
I found a really sweet mountain run very close to my house about 10 miles long. It's full of twists, turns and chances of falling off cliffs..
so of course i had to ride that baby with my new tsx. i did try to do most of it without getting too careless, I dont wanna ruin my new ride its only a few days old but i couldn't help pushing the car at some points.
going up the mountain i had VSA on and she didnt take the turns as good as i thought but on the way down i decided to turn VSA off, and her cornering ability improved so much.
it was fun as hell, next time im gonna bring a buddy with me to video tape it so i can put it on youtube. ill probably do that in a couple of days when i have some free time.

It just makes the steering more stiff as it's about to take the corner, so the car has to slow down to take the corner. dont quote me on this but im guessing its done so the car doesnt go out of control during turns. which i think is made for drivers who dont know how to take a corner without help from the car's stability control.
but with vsa off it makes it alot easier to take turns and not have to reduce speed much to do so. of course you gotta know the car's limits and not drive like a maniac so the car doesnt go into a spin and end up falling off a cliff or something.
basically from what i know about vsa, when its off you have more control of the car.

I have done some "spirited" driving in my TSX and have not noticed the VSA taking over on during hard cornering, maybe I did not push it hard enough
I have taken off quickly and the tires started to break loose (once in the dry and a few times in the wet), then the VSA kicked in and cut the power, I did not like the feeling in the power being cut. Once I almost got rear ended as the person behind me went to take off quickly as well. Wish the VSA would allow just a little more wheel spin before the power was cut off. I guess it is a small issue which I have fixed by adjusting my driving.
