Tires with better dry traction and VSR?

I'm planning on swapping out my oem tires (new) with max performance summer tires (already have a set of winters for the snowy months). My goal is to increase handling and traction. I find the oem tires are good for only non-spirited driving.

My concern is that if i get tires like Hankook Ventus v12 evo or something in that catagory, will it cause my VSR to kick in more frequently?

Is it worth getting stickier tires for the TSX over the oem tires?

Have any members notice a significant improvement in some aspects of the car?
(or were the changes only marginal?)

why 2 threads of the same?

get stickier tires! VSA kicks in when you lose traction.
What happens when you put on a sticky tire? you gain traction.

is it worth it? only if you like to have fun with your car.

I'm about to mount Nitto NT05s on my TL on saturday.

Do you leave vsa on during spirited driving or off?
