I'd like to get my windows tinted...what do I need to know and how much should I expect to spend? I love the looks of a light colored car with dark windows, but not so much on a black car, so I don't want to go too dark. Is there a specific brand I should go for or stay away from? A local installer in my town uses Johnson Window Films. Anyone familiar? His price is $200 for a 4-door sedan.

Just tell him to tint ALL the rear window and not cut around the stop light. He will have to take the rear parcel shelf out to do the job properly. You might want to take it out before you take your car to him.

The CU2 has felt in the doors already, the CL9 missed out on this very basic feature.

Get what ever % tint you want. 35% (legal over here in Aust) is what I got, and it is good.
20% is nice and dark with out going stupid. Visability is still good with 20%.
