Stoked! My TSX delivers Friday
Dealership called, my TSX arrived , they are doing whatevver dealer prep, detailing the car and putting it on the showroom for me to take delivery Friday. Friday is suppose to be 80 deg and sunny so good day for delivery, will take it immediatly up to 11,000' elevation ++ to check power and I will probably wish for the six, but my other vehicles are gas hogs (kind of) so wanted the car to be sort of green and 4 cylinderish, without being a Prius.
Hope to have wheels (RJ Vegas, yes 19" thank you for condemming anything less and tires installed possibly Saturday if wheels & tires arrived, otherwise next week, along with tint & clear.
Cannot post pics until I am 15 days old to this forum, but will at some point.

Congrats. I'm n Denver too. I got my 2010 in mid-April. Been pleased so far with the car; not so much with having to go back to the dealership multiple times for stupid stuff.
I had an '04, then an '06 and now the 2010.
I dunno if I would head to the mountains so quick...it might, or might not, be good for the break-in. Just throwing it out there for discussion b/c I really don't know....

Congrats glenski on your new purchase.
I agree with ZaxDude though regarding proper break-in for the car.
High altitude put extra load on engine and coming down hill will require heavier use of brakes which is not good during break-in period.
Below is from the 2010 owners manual
Break-in Period
Do not tow a trailer.

Break-in Period
Help assure your vehicle’s future reliability and performance by paying extra attention to how you drive during the first 600 miles (1,000 km).
During this period:
Avoid full-throttle starts and rapid acceleration.
Do not change the oil until the scheduled maintenance time.
Avoid hard braking for the first 200 miles (300 km).

Speaking of Denver, glenski, you may want to consider putting in a CAI on your 4cyl to help recover some of the hp loss due to Denver's altitude (5280 ft/ mile high).
A naturally aspirated engine loses approximately 3% power for every 1,000feet, this is due to a decrease in air density at altitude and thus less oxygen available for combustion. So your TSX 201 hp will have 15% less power or around 170hp in Denver.
I think chibianh has the CT Engineering Icebox CAI installed in his TSX, it gives somewhere around 12hp and 10ft/lb torque gain. I have one in my car and love it.

My last few cars I was told the old days of the break in period were out/old requirements of previous gen engines, and never had any issues, not that I did not treat the vehicle a little easy to start. As it appears an acutal recommendation for the 1st 1,000 miles on the TSX, I have no problem with following that to be safe and take it easy.
Power issue here at starting elevation of 5280' is a real thing, when I drive a car out on the west coast at sea level I really notice how much quicker the car feels. I would not mind checking into the CAI but know nothing about this. I would imagine that should be installed after the break in period, and does it affect the Acura warranty?

I'm advised I cant post pics til 15 days on the forum?
Car is great, dealer had it on the showroom and I took pics. Tthe Dealer (Mile High Acura in Denver) was upfront all along and no unknown tricks or problems at delivery. Matthew our salesman was super helpful, knowledgable and to the point.
Had the windows tinted Saturday and today the RJ Vega wheels and tires are being installed.....it better look hot the wheels and tires were expensive and then something I failed to think about, tire sensors for the new wheels are required if you want the TPS system to work. I wanted to leave the sensors on the factory wheels as I will use them in the winter.
I will take pics of the car with the Vega's, if I cant post quite yet may be later next week, as going out of town for awhile over Memorial day in the RV.

Congrats again and can't wait for the pictures.
BTW, you don't have to wait 15 days to post pictures, you can't upload your pics to the forum photo album but most of us here uses photobucket /Flickr or something similar. Once you uploaded pics to those sites, copy and paste the pics from there to here, the photos will display on your thread. Good luck.

Yeah, I personally just drove with out the TPMS in the stock tires for the winters.. you get used to the yellow light after the first day. Not worth the $400 for new sensors
