Steering Wheel Trim and other accessories
New guy here and I have a question for those more experienced with acuras than myself. I have owned alot of cars but none as well built as my TSX. Mazdas, VWs, and Mitsubishis are pretty easy to work on.
The silver steering wheel trim I ordered from curry acura just arrived today. I was hoping to install it tonight but the install looks kinda complicated and I dont have a steering wheel puller or torque wrench. Have any of you installed this yourselves? I have installed things myself on my old cars but the processes were not as involved as this. would it be wiser to have my dealer install this for me?
install instructions:
http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/AI/BII38618.pdf
I also ordered splash guards and will be installing those soon, the floor mats I ordered were quite easy to install.
BTW I will be posting pics of my car soon, I need a nice day and it needs cleaned. Basque Red is beautiful but attracts alot of dirt.

I didnt take pics while installing it because the instructions do a good ob of explaining the installation. Here is the finished product

Some notes:
-The torx screws holding the airbag in are hard to loosen up.
-You do not need to removethe steering wheel to install the ring. It would probably make it easier but not by much. I did not remove the wheel and the entire install took me maybe 45mins.
I think the finished product looks great and the trim ring doesnt have the rough texture of the one that comes on the car by default.

it cost $99 shipped from www.curryacuraparts.com
I rented a steering wheel puller and torque wrench from advanced auto parts. But I did not use them as I didnt remove the wheel to install it.
