Question Service Question - 2010

Hello
I have not been active on this community for a looooong time. I just visited my Acura Dealer and are telling me I need the following service.

Battery Replacement: $189
EFT Service: $264

My 2010 Acura TSX (4cy) has about 64,000 miles. Do I need a EFT service? Is this the fuel injector service?

Also, I'm from NY. Anyone know of a good shop that does repairs that will not rip or rape you off in the process. This would be helpful.

Thank You

If that includes the cost of the battery, that's a fair price. Battery prices have gone way up over the last few years, and are now in the $150+ range. An aftermarket Die-Hard 51R from Advance Auto will run you $200+. Replacing a battery is something almost anyone can do themselves, too. Twelve years is a good life for a battery, so if they did a load or voltage check and it didn't pass, it probably does need replacing after twelve years.

Not sure what "EFT service" even is, to be honest.

My friend told me EFT service is a fancy way of adding fuel injector.
