I was driving home last night and I heard a really load bang. I checked it out when I got and and when I got out, there was a 2" long scratch/dent on the rocker panel of my 600 mile TSX. I drove back to where I heard the noise and there was a piece of exhaust (about 2 feet long) in the middle of the road! I could kill someone!!! My car is getting fixed as we speak....I just wonder why the made the rocker panel part of the rear 1/4 panel....bad move Acura! It could have been a simple fix if the did separate rockers....ughhhhh! Now I'm worried about how its gonna get fixed...the shop owner said its a super easy fix...but I'm SUPER picky when it comes to my car. The damage was under the drive side door...so I'm hoping for minimal paint /body work!

They can repair all but the memory. I know how you feel, one always thinks it only happens to them.

The night I brought my new 06 Alti SE-R home I backed into a giant terra cotta pot, followed by opening my door on a GD concrete chicken stashed in the flower bed.

Yeah, that's too bad for you! I know how you feel...But just think, this stuff happens all time, not just to you . I got a paint gash and dent on my trunk lid when I was driving my last car (04 TSX)..it just flew on top of my car from nowhere, it was a loud bang also!

And today I just had a large chip on my 2009 TSX's windshield that I had to use a repair shop to fix, that was real painful when I got it!

Just be fortunate that you walked away unharmed.

I got it back today....it looks very good...no waves what so ever. I need a to not care as much and enjoy driving it, then sh*t like thins won't happen.
