I installed my RV6 downpipe and testpipe this weekend. Overall a pretty smooth process. Took a little over 2 hours, on jack stands.....that is from start to finish including tool cleanup! I will post pics comparing the differences from my install. The craftsmanship on the RV6 pieces are second to NONE. Their welds are phenomenal and very smooth. Worth every penny!!!
I still have the OEM exhaust on at the moment. So with the downpipe it does have a (rasp) to the exhaust note now between 3K-4K RPM, after that the intake really sings. Inside the cabin, through the firewall, you can hear the exhaust flow and it sounds like a waterfall. And through all my years of headers etc installed on Hondas and Acuras, this has always been a signature sound when adding headers/deleting the cats.
The power flow is much smoother and the engine climbs through the RPM's quicker than before due to the faster flow of the exhaust gases.
If you decide to upgrade your cat-back exhaust, consider the Fujitsubo Legalis R. It is smooth, mellow, slightly louder than stock, and zero rasp when paired with the RV6
Nice! Thanks for the info. It seems hard to find, but maybe I’m not looking in the right places. I was highly considering the Greddy because I always remember how great their exhausts sounded way back in the day.....

Hey I’m planning on putting the same down pipe and test pipe on my 2009 Tsx. I already have a cold air intake. Now from what I’ve been told, after putting in the test pipe, I need to tune my car so I don’t catch any codes or some other reason. Is that true?

Adding the tune will help with any CEL's as you may get one like a P0209 I think, inefficiency in catalytic converter reading....I have the SERGEBO tune...I have yet to get a CEL and it helps with the power curve aswell. Look him up on FACEBOOK. He has a waiting list, as he sends you the USB cables and does a remote tune with your laptop device. Pretty cool and simple and you can feel the difference! and inexpensive $$
I did go back after install and add the Vibrant resonator to take away the rasp.....incredible difference in sound now.
