Removing window switch cover as part of door panel removal

I am trying to remove the rear driver-side door panel on my 2009 TSX to replace a speaker and, after seeing several helpful tutorials here, have a question about removing the window switch cover. The tutorials don't seem to say much about the technique for removing this piece. Since the cover is plastic and is very closely aligned with the door handle material, I don’t want to use the wrong tool or force this in the wrong area. I see a notch on the back side of the cover (at the pocket/well in the handle). I’ve tried inserting a small screwdriver and lifting here, but I haven’t seen much movement before I get to a point where I’m concerned about breaking the plastic. The front of the switch cover, closest to the front seat, doesn’t appear to have enough of a gap to insert a screwdriver to lift up. What is the right tool and location to begin the removal of this piece?
