Range Meter vs. Fuel Gauge accuracy...
Random question... My low fuel reminder pops up around 50 miles left on the range meter... I drove it until about 30 miles, but the fuel gauge needle was on E. I was nervous driving those last few miles but made it to the gas station with no sputtering or anything. Just curious as to what I should trust more? I assume the fuel gauge as the range meter fluctuates (normal, or something I need to get checked out) It doesn't jump all over the place but it goes up sometimes and goes down sometimes.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I've driven 20 miles with the range meter showing 0. Very stupid idea because from what I'm told the fuel pump is cooled by the fuel in the tank and with the tank being that low on fuel, there's a chance of the pump prematurely burning out.
Just know that when your car tells you that you need fuel, you'll need fuel. Push it if you want lol
