Paint match my grill or leave as stock?

I have a 2013 tsx graphite luster metallic color, so i was wondering if i should paint match my grill or just leave as the stock grill since a lot ppl like the grill for 2013 model. what do you guys think? Here are some pictures.

This is definitely a must for 09-11 TL's, not so much for the TSX if you ask me. I think it looks okay either way, but I guess paintmatching is a little different and can set the car apart. What about painting the "beak" but leaving the surrounding trim chrome? Just another idea.

You could always vinyl it to see if you like it first.

Not sure lol. Was going to take of the beak but he said I didn't need to and it came out perfect. There are no seams/lines anywhere.

I painted matched mine and love how it sets it apart. You just need to be diligent on touching up stone chips.

The headlights he has in his post I think are the ones from EBay with dual projectors. From the reviews I believe the projector quality is not as good as oem, which is one reason I didn't get them.

I cleared my headlights using the DIY on these forums.

Highly considering paint matching my grill but how often would you say you have to touch it up and how noticeable are the chips?

Very infrequently. The worst I got was when exiting behind a gravel truck and had some some deep touch ups.

I would say every couple months take out the touch up pen and ouch up the grill along with the rest of the car.

I got everything done at once, so it's hard to say.

I got grill, front rear side skirts and spoiler painted and installed for $1200.

If you were to divide that by 6 pieces it comes out to $200 each...so $200 would be the highest I would assume.

Do you guys think this mod would also look good on a milano red tsx? I wonder if it can be photoshopped.

I personally think it works best on darker cars, with lighter colours the chrome does not contrast as much.

Milano Red is neither so it's hard to say.

But you can definitely photoshop it to see.

I've done the plastidip on my grill but quickly got rid of it cuz it just looked like unpainted plastic. I was talking about paint matching my grill. Making it Milano red. I haven't seen this done yet.

I think that's to much. A while back I went to all the paint shops around my town and I found one place that painted two fenders and a bumper for around $180. I was surprise to find out that most shops out there only do insurance paying jobs. I guess that's where the money is at.

any decent can of proper color is more than 25 delivered. automotivetouchup is 25 PLUS the ride. then add in the 2k clear thats another 25. so thats 50. and all that and you are saying you have left over primer, tape, sandpaper. if not add another $20. so thats $70.

sort of like the guy saving $20 shopping body shops....when the PRICE is the LAST REASON I would choose a body shop

anyway, have fun
