^ If you think the TSX is slow you should try the ZDX.
Seriously though, paddle shifters will never be as fast as a true mechanical transmission, but IMHO the one in the CU2 isn't bad at all. Once you get used to it, you subconsciously time your shifts a little earlier anyway.

If you know how to properly operate the gas pedal with the A/T, you can pretty much use that as the only paddle you need.

It's no dual clutch but I'm satisfied with the shift speed on the V6. Especially on the down shifts, even without a rev-match. Using the paddles does force you to retrain your driving style from a single handed 12 o'clock grip to a dual-handed 10 and 2 mode. I'm considering taking a new TL for a spin just to check-out the new 6 speed auto.
