Opinions on Modulo/oem sport kit

Was looking for some opinions on the modulo kit. I am seriously considering getting it. But still not completely sold on how the entire thing looks as a package. I like the front bumper, but not the sides and rear. They are a bit busier than what I (personal opinion) typically like. How do you guys think my car would look with just the front? Or would it just look completely off and unfinished? Here are some examples. Having a hard time deciding. Need some help

my car

Supreme's old car running just the modulo front bumper

tsx1hp's car running the full kit

Since its a bumper, and not a lip, I think it looks alright. Of course, the whole kit looks better.

The kit as a whole looks good, clean & subtle but you can also survive with just the aero front bumper as well if you choose to go that path. If you find the aero rear at a good price holla back plz! I needs it lol

That first pic showing your car looks really good. I'd leave well enough alone.

The whole kit looks really good. The 09-10 front aero bumper looks awesome to me, really wish I could use my grille with it. I dont see a problem with having either just the front or rear bumper and not having the whole kit. The car still has good lines. Im running just the rear bumper and I really like it. If you have the money then the whole kit would look amazing on your car.

I'm willing to spend the extra money to make it look good. The reason why I was opting for just the front was because I feel like the full kit makes the car look stretched out and long. Installing just the front allows the car to keep its shape while making the front look more aggressive. However, I see the point that some of you guys are making. the kit doesnt really mesh up with the rest of the body of the car without the sides and rear. There are stray lines in the modulo front that dont go perfectly with the stock body. I think the picture below illustrates that somewhat. But it doesnt look bad.

I wish that acura would just sell the full SE kit painted w/ 11-12 bumper and grill. importing the 09-10 type s kit is such a hassle.

Here is what I mean by stretched. Not at all saying that the car with the full kit is lesser than the other two. Just longer.

All cars that I am posting up are beautiful

Stock

Front only

Full kit

I think your car looks superb as is. But if you want to make your car even more custom, get the full kit. I somewhat agree just getting the front doesn't fully integrate with the rest of the stock lines. Your car will be badass either the way it is or with the full kit.

Agreed. the SE sides are a bit sleeker imo. The modulo kit does have its moments tho. The direct shot from the front and back are sick!

NP. I'll let you know if I find something. Right now all I see are full kits or just front =/.

Thanks everyone for your comments so far. They have all been very helpful!

Swarlos- I am on the exact same page as you. If I could afford it, I would just buy to aero front end. I think the side skirts and back end are just way too busy! The front looks amazing though and very aggressive! The forged front end directs your toward the grille and an imaginary point on the front of the car. It makes it seem more stream lined and "aero" dynamic. If were me, I would just buy the front. That would be optimal appearance to me.

damn i haven't seen your car in a while--it looks really good...i'd leave it if I were you.

I'm not a big fan of mixing parts of kits or just getting bits and pieces...they usually have design elements that need to go together to work.

BTW, that last pic of the PWP looks incredible too--who's ride is that?

Hmm, now that you mention it, in those pictures with just the front the lines do seem a little off. The whole kit for 09-10 I really like though.

I hear ya. Want the front end to look more aggressive. But would like to retain the clean-ness of the oem lines.

Thanks man! The last pic i posted was of supreme's car pre work varianzas. If you are referring to the car I posted the ass shot of before that, then it is euronoobs ride. Its freakin unreal how nice his tsx is...

to be honest, i really like the rear, maybe even more than the type s. the front im actually not a big fan of, yes, it looks awesome and and aggressive up front, but when you view it sideways or front quarter, it makes the car look longer and i don't really like that :/

i prefer a type s lip or something lol.

but either way, your car will look amazing swarlos, so go for it

Wow. The whole kit makes it look sick. The front and rear are slick. I see how the side extends the looks a little but I like it.

So I know this thread is a bit dead... But does anyone know where you could order that front end? I haven't found as much as an eBay auction with it out there unfortunately

Yes Modulo is the same as the sport front/rear bumpers and side skirts. Modulo is what the kit is refered to overseas.

The kit as a whole looks very clean and subtle. But to an enthusiast, firmly stands out.

From the pics, you could get away with installing the front bumper first and the adding the side skirts and rear later if you can't afford the whole kit in one shot.

Your car looks great the way it is in the first post. If anything, that is how I want mines to look when or if I start to mod it.

I'd go all around with the 09-10 kit. Other wise it looks like you couldn't afford the rest of it or someone stole some.

Does anyone have pictures of sport (modulo) front bumper with the fog light inserts painted to match the bumper, I like the bumper but not the look from side shot with the black inserts.
