? NSX Lightweight 16 lb wheels and 225 45 17 tires ?
The wheels I'm looking at are those that are on the picture of the NSX below.

I am in the process of picking up some forged RO-JA wheels that are forged and light weight. I also have an extra set of new 225-45-17 tires from my e45 bmw. I have two questions for anyone who can help me:
1) Will lighter wheels increase performance (acceleration, etc...)?
2) Will lighter wheels increase fuel efficiency?
3) Will using 225-45-17 tires (3.4% difference in rolling circumference) throw off the electronics of the car? I'm not that concerned with the speedometer, I just want to know if it will affect the traction, abs, etc...? I don't want to buy a new set of 225-50-17 unless it is absolutely necessary![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks in advance for any members who can provide insight into the above!!

To answer your questions:
1) Slightly.
2) Very slightly. (So small of a difference that you won't notice the gains)
3) Going from a 225/45/17 to a 225/50/17 will make your speedometer read 3.5% too slow. When your speedometer reads 60mph, you're actually going 62.1mph.
To me, that's too much of a difference. But, drivability shouldn't be affected at all.
