I recently purchased a used TSX and was wondering what fuel everyone here is using. Is anyone using the low-octane type?

I always heard of it doing nothing and a recent report I saw pretty much confirms it:

I watched maybe the first 10 seconds and turned it off. It looks like it's for the average person, like yourself, who don't know anything about how an internal combustion engine works and how fuel octane ratings come into play...

I did my Independent Research Project on octane's effect on engines, and after doing that much research, I will always use the recommended octane for my car lol.

Thanks McMilli. That thread was very informative and made me realize the report was about choosing premium when regular was recommended. It was not about using regular when premium was recommended!
