hi guys - just wanted to introduced myself. I recently purchased a new 2013 bwp tsx on ebony interior with tech. just had a quick question if the car should come with a navigation DVD disc.. I purchased my car at paragon acura in New York (for all you new yorkers) and I didnt want to get screwed over - just didnt want to get owned

Nav disc is in your trunk in the DVD player thing. But I think that's on 2009-2010's because I've had people tell me the newer ones are HDD based.

 

right over the GWB here, got my 2013 from curry. i believe they are fully HDD based so it doesnt need a nav disc, but i have a base.

 

dave is correct. 2011+ do not have navi discs anymore. it's all hdd based.

 

2011+ has Acura Satellite Navigation!! You will never need to update it!! Its Satellite links.

All semi-modern nav systems are sat-nat. The car figures out where it is based upon input from at least 3 satellites - but - the mapping still needs to be upgraded via software.

To answer the OP's question, 2011+ have a HDD based system. You will not get a DVD.
