New owner/bumper protection?

Hey guys,
New member here, just picked up my CPO 2010 V6 TSX today. It's the nicest car I could've even dreamed of buying right now, and the thought of streetside parking overnight in NYC absolutely kills me as I spend the majority of my time there for school. Does anybody have any thoughts/experience on good ways to prevent bumper scratches and dents, besides the usual bumper bully way, maybe a clear bra of some sort? Garaging isn't really an option for me right now, a bit on the pricey side. Thanks for any input!

Agreed for rock chips but I think the OP is talking about the casual bumps here and there when parking in the city.
