wow, that is some dark tint.
I assume you have a medical condition warranting the
tint on the windshield.
any plans for modifications? or you gonna keep it stock?
I bet it feels nice to finally have it.
it took forever to get the one I ordered too.
I was quite psyched when it finally got delivered.

No medical condition at all.
Just making her look bad ass.
Yea the tints are crazy dark especially with the Ebony Interior.
When I'm driving at night all you see is a outline or shadow of myself and the passenger. Sure has hell don't have to deal with the glare on the Nav screen.

not sure how it is where you live,
but I'm pretty sure in all of the states that is illegal.
windshield tinting is only allowed with a medical condition.
so just keep an eye out for that, lots of cops pull people
over for tints.
enjoy the car!

you're asking for trouble with that type of tint. I can see many tickets and pull overs for you in the near future. If you live in NY better watch out for these cops. He got pulled over 2x in one night for having tint 'too dark'

If you get into an accident and they find out the windshield is tinted, your insurance company won't cover you. Also, if you get caught, immediate impound. Watch out.

Yeah they're very picky about it here in NC. I went with the legal 35% and still got pulled over for it. I was let off without a ticket though because I showed him the receipt in my glove box stating it was legal.

I would be very worried about driving around in a crowded city at night with a windshield tint. Imagine trying to make a right or left at an intersection with crosswalks where pedestrians have the right of way. Someone wearing a dark outfit would be nearly invisible, then maybe throw in some rain on the windshield to boot you could innocently run them over. The added negligence of having windshield tint would probably make the punishment even harsher.
I didn't like the video. The guy assumes that the cop is motivated by racism and doesn't consider the possibility that the cop is irritated by the tints alone. I know that tints look cool but I also see them as a tool of social defiance. Aside from looking cool their primary function is to keep people from outside of the car from knowing who or what is inside the car. It would prevent a cop from seeing if the driver is falling over in his seat, unbuckled, hitting a bong, drinking beer, breaking the the "no operating a cell phone while driving" law, and so forth. Car modders are lucky that tints are legal at all. If I were a cop I would have cause the believe that the driver is doing something they don't want me to witness, so of course my first thought would be to pull them over and see what they might be hiding, and I wouldn't hesitate to give them crap about my job harder than it has to be just so their car can look cool.

Hey, it is what it is. A cop gave the guy a ticket for an 'illegal' tint. Then another cop tried to give him another ticket for the same reason. In this case, he's just happened to be Black. I guess he just had a bad day with the cops. I would avoid all cops at all cost regardless if they are good or bad. Just my 2 cents.

I don't have a problem seeing out at night been driving with a tinted windshield for years. My last car was a BMW 330CI same exact way vehicle was tinted. Car got totaled out in a accident T-Boned a suv who blew a intersection. Insurance adjuster didn't even say one word about the tinted windshield when vehicle was inspected.
As for the cops and tickets absolutely no worries at all that's covered 100% with some professional courtesy.

Then you're probably right. Otherwise, it's hard to believe you could get out of repeated tinting violations. However, you do seem to have some experience with tinting, so I'll take your word. I just wouldn't drive around like that myself.

Limos have tinted windows by default. When an average car has tints it says a lot more about the car's driver than a limo's tint says about its passengers.

(off topic) That YT vid above is total, 100% BS. It's like he has done no wrong.
/rolls eyes
1 - illegal tint
2 - video recording (not 'filming' like he incorrectly states) while... DRIVING?
If he got into an accident while not being able to see out his windows & while holding a video camera, one would assume he would blame the other driver for the accident.
lolz
(on topic): love the new TSX! Congrats! Why was there a hold up over the ebony interior? I thought that would be a very common color.
Hopefully, this weekend or next, I'll be heading to the dealer for the same colors
