My 09 tsx build

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the site but not to the car scene!
I came from a gen 1 tsx for my fall/winter/spring vehicle and now moved on to a gen 2! ( S2000 is my summer car hence the name )

I haven't done too many mods on the vehicle quite yet.

H&R Race springs ( This is only temp, Awaiting Ohlins to contact me back on a set of coilovers )
Blox Billet LM shift knob
Ordered a set of TE37 LP 18x9.5 wraped with Toyo RA1 275/35/18 all around

I had a Sparco speed bucket seat lying around in my garage. Went to do some research on seat rails etc and to my surprise parts for this vehicle is very limited.

Let the DIY commence

Fairly straight forward build, extremely simple up until building the sensor plugs and SRS fixes ( measuring resistance blah blah blah )

Here are some pictures to give you an idea

Rear View

Overall Look

Next up will be a high flow exhaust, Will do some dyno pulls before and after

Very nice, looking forward to seeing the completed build. Btw, you forgot to blur out the license plates in the other pic. Is that Aberdeen in Richmond? Looks familiar...

can you please explain how you connected your seats and rails? i have aftermarket seats too that fits a 01 prelude but im not sure if the rails or brackets will fit the TSX. i wanted to install them but i heard that it will disable the airbags

i thought the SRS and the airbags are connected to the OEM seats?

what do you mean building sensor plugs and SRS fixes? can you give us more details on this?

That comes down to what type of seat rails you are using and seat. Its fairly simple buidling that part.
Use cardboard to mock up, and find a local metal shop

The oem seat side airbags has an individual sensor, disconnecting the seat will not disable your front airbag from what I am told.
If someone is willing to crash test their car with my seat rail and seat in it, you are more than welcome to test my theory hahaha
So far I've only figured out the seatbelt light and I'm currently working on the " WARNING , CHECK AIRBAG " light

Just picked up some Work emotion CR Kai in HHP
Only teaser pictures for now children, The car is still in weak.sos mode

Also working on a functional front/side/rear diffuser
I had something similar on my S2000 but not going to be that aggressive.
A little idea of what i'm talking about
Some hate the way it looks, But I didn't build the diffuser for cosmetics, I built it to perform and perform it did!
The diffuser is for track purpose only! even though its amazing on the hwy

I was told that if one airbag don't work, the "master sensor" will shut off all the other airbags. (According to the Acura technician here in US)

That is correct, My friend that is helping me with this is a general electrician/part time @ Honda technician ( He's actually my prof in post secondary ) so hopefully we will find a solution to that asap
