Mpg
Wondering what everyone is averaging for MPG. I just went through my first tank of gas and averaged 24.8 MPG, which is good, but i've heard it goes up through the first few 1000 miles. My driving habits were:
35% City
65% Highway
- No acceleration over 3500 rpms
- Used sport mode a couple times but mainly drive mode.
That actually brings up a second question. Is sports mode going to get you worse gas mileage?

it all depends on the shift and how heavy foot you have on the gas !!! 24.8 for 65% highway is good

Ive gotten down around 20 lately, I used to get 25's and 26's all city. My commute now is 3 miles vs 13 at my previous job so the engine barely get warm enough. Even though its 3 miles, I get stopped at stop lights much more often and there is more traffic. So I would say a lot of what makes up the 20mpg is my lead foot passing traffic heh

Lately, I been getting about 31mpg (4 cylinder AT) according to the dash display. I am using regular fuel. When I first got my car, I was using Premium and was getting about 26mpg.
I am not making a direct correlation between mileage and gas type... But I drive the exact same commute everyday. The results stand for themselves.
My driving style? I drive about 65% highway, 35% city. I drive usually 65 to 70mph on the highway, no heavy traffic. I rarely slam on the accelerator, I drive relatively conservatively.
Next time at the pump, I will fill it up with Premium and post my new results. If the mileage dips significantly, then I am sure Premium is the culprit.

I did a search for "MPG" and nothing came up for the TSX. So i decided to post one. Obviously you know how to search better. Take it easy on the newbie!

I just did my first refill on my TSX V6. 365 miles / 16 gallons = 22.8 miles / gallon.
The trip computer said I averaged like 23.5 miles.
Cruise control and long steady freeway drives help a lot.

Just about the same as a year ago, but it's definitely warmer out this year. Actual MPG 30.54, but the last four tanks all on regular. And I have no noticeable loss of passing power with regular.
