Picked up my ‘14 wagon on 10/15/2022 with 97,915 miles. Now it has 99,700 miles

It's a young one. Less than 100k miles is young to me at least. If you haven't done it, change the trans fluid and filter.

Hell yeah, I love high mileage stuff...it means it was USED for its intended porpoise.

Except for the start up rattle, it runs flawlessly. Can't see getting rid of it anytime soon.

on my audi they basically say it's normal unless it goes on for x amount of seconds at crank.

VTC actuator. It only does it for a couple of seconds, so not too worried about it.

I just changed the oil on my 2012, 279,909 a little rattle at the start up but still doesn't burn oil and I'm still running ow-20. I changing out the rear pads and rotors this weekend.

Sad news to report. I wrecked the 12 Wagon. Only had 222k miles on it at the time. I think the only salvageable thing will be the JDM tails. No full coverage, so I won't be replacing it with another wagon. I'm going to miss that car for sure.
