You will likely have insufficient wrap around the blower pulley (meaning belt slip) due to the positioning of the adjacent pulleys. You are not the first one to find that the Merc tensioner does not fit the CU2. I would love to run one with my CT-E kit, and it appears you will need some sort of custom/aftermarket solutions to even complete your build. Perhaps we should all put our heads together, and reach out to Merc Racing. With enough interest, perhaps they would have a tensioner made to fit our cars.
