Lip Spoiler Painted and Shipped for just over $200
Hey fellas,
So like a lot of TSX owners, I have been itching to get the OEM lip spoiler, but even with a discount from Acura it would cost me about $350 for the spoiler. Which I thought was a tad too high for me for a piece of plastic. I had a 2004 TL and I got the lip spoiler for about $80 shipped painted from eBay back then, not only was it a perfect fit, and color match, it also did not utilize any bolts to hold in place like the OEM one so it was a super easy installation. I used extra 3M tape on it and it was installed better and firmer on there than the OEM lip spoiler (they tend to come lose on the ends because the 3m tape is too weak)
So I finally found someone selling imitation spoilers on eBay. They are not as cheap as $80 but for just of $200 ($201.xx) shipped and painted it is a lot cheaper than the OEM one. I can not comment on the fitment and the color match just yet. I called the rep at ZigAuto and they seem really cool, based in PA. He told me that the container has been delayed so there is about a 2 week wait on the spoiler, which is ok with me. He also told me that they use a shop to do the paint and claimed the match would be perfect. The material they use is ABS plastic (not fiberglass) and the OEM one is most likely ABS as well, unless its polyurethane.
I will keep you guys posted on the review once I get the spoiler in.

He has 8 available at this point, but I am sure he will be able to get his hands on more.

I forgot to mention, they also have the regular spoiler, and I think he has those in stock already.

UPDATE:
So it is not Dec 22nd, and I am getting the same thing from the seller, he is told that the shipment is delayed, another 2 weeks. Basically this has been the story since I ordered the spoiler. I knew there was a delay, but at this point I rather just order it when he has them in stock. He has always gave me the option of a full refund and apologized, I am taking him up on that, so I will be getting the money back. Maybe I will shell out another $125 on top of the $200 and get the OEM spoiler......
For those who ever do get a product from him, do share your experience. It might still be a bargain when he has the item in stock.
