Installing oem spoiler

I just purchased this spoiler
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171260556488?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
it has two screws on each side, but i can only drill a hole through the top whole since the bottom hole interfers with the trunk rubber stopper....
my concern is that if i screw in the top whole, the bottom of the spoiler will lift up...

is there a way i can screw it or a glue i can use to glue that part of the spoiler to the trunk?

You should glue it

You need to follow the instructions on how to install the item safely & properly.

Ok I will check those instructions out. I wanted to wire the spoiler light to my brake light. Is this possible ? Because I noticed my brake wire has three plugs (red black and green) and my spoiler only came with white and red plug

Elmers white school glue. Its the best! It's washable too just in case you go a little too crazy with it.

Why would you buy that spoiler and not an OEM for much less?

Are these not true OEM or is there something special about the one you purchased? (if you search you might be able to find your color, I just picked a random one.)

No, the one you posted looks like a Chinese knockoff, the other one is a genuine Honda part.

Also the Genuine Honda one comes with stronger springs for the trunk, without them you are going to find the trunk falls on your head really easily.

The other one didn't come with springs. Do I have to install the springs ? Is it easy?

You don't "have" to but when you go to close the trunk don't let go. That extra weight makes it slam really hard. They are annoying to install to say the least. I actually bought the tool from Honda to do it.

I'm usually anal about my trunk getting shut hard. But I will look into and see how hard the install is.

My 01 accord had a OEM spoiler attached later on I think (I bought used). The trunk SLAMMED hard. A few times while I was getting things in/out. That was the worst!

I only knew about that OEM spoiler because I was wanting one myself. I never pulled the trigger though because I can't tell if I reallllly like it with the spoiler or not. Normally I do but I just can't decide on the TSX.
