Initial Oil Change

Initial Oil Change
I have a 2010 Acura TSX with 2,928 miles on the odometer The car was built in June 2010 and, presumably, the crankcase was filled with oil at that time. I have read that the oil used at the factory for the initial fill is a special break-in formula containing molybdenum. My Maintenance Minder is showing 70%. The owner's manual and the Acura web site both recommend changing the oil after one year even if the Maintenance Minder does not show that it is time for an oil change. Neither indicates whether this applies to the initial oil change. Should I leave the oil in the motor and get the full break-in, or should I change it due to its age? Is the one year measured from the time that the car was built or from when it was put into service, in my case 17. November 2010?
Thank you.
Thank you.

I believe the Owners Manual clearly indicates that you DO NOT change your initial oil until the MID lit up. After that, if over a year and the MID doesn't indicate so, you should go ahead and change oil/filter.
And btw, roughly 3K miles with 70% left, it's very good. Mine hit 15% at 7600 miles

I'm at almost 4500 miles and it just dropped to 50%.
My dealer offered me a free oil change to expire by 7/26. I told them my MID wouldn't have come on by then, and they extended it for me. I'm thinking since they did this that the first oil change shouldn't be done until the MID says so.
