There is a pic on the Acura site under accessories that shows an '11 TSX with a body kit but there is no other info on it. You can't put it on in the build section and there are no other pics of it? Does anyone have any other info on the new kit? Cost? Pics?

I saw that pic. Looks more like a front lip instead of a entire bumper.

 

Actually the sides and rear are the same as 09-10. The front is two under spoilers which go on the left and right sides, kind of like spats. I think the dealers still list the front aero bumper as the stock accessory though.

Part number is 08F01-TL2-200B but I called a dealer just now and I don't think this is an item they stock even though it's listed here.

Yeah, the Honda Japan site still has the 09-10 Aero front bumper as an accessory for the '11. But they have the sport grill that fits that bumper, the new TSX grill doesn't look like it will fit the aero bumper.

scroll down to front aero bumper, it describe as if it's a one piece set (ie entire bumper and not just a lip).

 

Wow am I nuts or is there not much difference between the OEM bumper and the Aero bumper? Just a bit different at the bottom?

 

The 09-10 Aero bumper is soooo much nicer imo.

I stand corrected, just browsed through the 2011 TSX accessories instruction page, the underbody spoiler is similar to two wings.

i bet acura saved a lot of money by just doing the two front splitter looking piece

 

One of the reason I have the lip spoiler on my 09 is to keep a perfectly fine looking front bumper, so adding the splitters on the 2011 is good on Honda part. I only replaced my rear bumper to the Modulo aero one due to an insurance claim.

 

good call. i will purchase the front lip as well because i have a huge scratch on my bumper..and the lip is perfect to cover it up!

I was quoted $1892.27 installed for the 2011 Sport Package A (Front, sides, rear and deck lid spoiler).

 

Is the rear spoiler/ground effects kit the same in the Sport Package A as the one on the Canadian TSX site referenced above?

hi new here on acurazine. i'm currently owning 05 rsx s but deciding to get 2011 TSX v6 this year.

have a question about exterior mod on the 2011 model, has anyone try or know that 09-10 front aero bumper will direct fit on 2011 ?

 

I like those front wings better than the whole bumper. I was thinking about getting a 2011 front end just to get the wings! lol

 

No, 09 and 10 model has a larger grille than 2011 model, which is why they only offer the wing lip spoiler for 2011. If you want the aero front bumper, you will need to put the 09/10 front grille or the sports grille (with an H from Japan or Europe), alternatively, get the replica Modulo A grille from Heel Toe will do the same thing.

 

Can anyone help me find this rear Lip kit. I've searched almost through everything and can't find it. Please if anyone knows where I can get it let me know. Thanks

 

Ebay, there should be lots of them on there. Type S rear lip, or USDM Special Edition bumper.

I'm pretty sure they're all the same quality; not so good. You'll probably need to heat gun it and shape it by hand to correct the lines.
