I sold out....
well after a 10 months of owning my 2010 Acura TSX with full sport bumper kit, i got the itch for a new car. I traded my TSX last nite for a 2010 Tungsten Pearl(silver/with blk leather) Lexus IS250...Im loving the Lexus, it drives great, i will post some pics of my new car soon. I plan to drop it and do some stagg. Vossen rims.

Hey, we each have different tastes, and I thought about the IS too before I got my 2010 v6, but the TSX is a much better looking car in my eyes, and the price/content ratio cannot be beaten, and the backseat of the IS was too small for my needs.

Man, at this rate you'll be through 3 cars before the IS gets redesigned.
That was quick... 10 months and you already got the itch for a new car? How long do you normally keep your cars?
Best of luck, and post pics

it's a car-drive it
If that is what you enjoy doing-go for it-We presently own 3 vehicles-our 06 tsx, 07 mitsubishi truck and 2011 hyundai sonata which is one week old today (traded our 05 Hyundai Elantra GT with 100K+miles. We plan to trade in the 06 tsx next June for the 2011 tsx. love that car. Not a big fan of the Toyota product.

well 1st off the car drives a whole lot smoother and its definately quieter, the steering is weird bcuz i feel the acura was stiffer but then i again i had changed the suspension only a few days after getting the car, i think with the right mods i might actually stick with the Lexus for a little while, i do miss the acura and probably would of keeped it if the rims i have my mind set on would of fit.

People are talking about redesigns... The new Lexus IS250 on the market is a facelift version so its a slightly different look. Even though the design is about to change don't mean the car will look better. Its just a chance. Like many people dealt with the problem of buying the 08 TSX or 09 TSX. I was one of those people. I ended up getting the 2008 CL7 TSX. True, it has less tech compared to the new CU2 TSX. As in the one-touch moonroof, and one-touch on passenger side. Also a sub, and live weather/traffic I probably won't use. I can live w/o the one-touch. I feel the CL7 TSX is more nimble, and funnier to drive than the new TSX. The new TSX feels more luxurious than sporty. A 6spd CL7 TSX gives out better #s than the CU2 TSX. Deal breaker = Touch screen over the flood of buttons on the CU2 =)
But back to point. I personally would rather get a CU2 TSX than the IS250. IS250 fails to compare to the TSX in performance. The Inline4 TSX produce better #s than the IS250. The TSX handles better than the IS250. The only thing the IS250 got over the TSX is probably the luxury, but forget the luxury when Lexus/Toyota is having reliability problems right now. I just don't really like the IS cars much. The IS250 is soft and its a joke. IS350 = no manual? Wtf... IS-F = no manual and 8spd auto? Wtf. Joke. The IS is labeled as a sport car, but its made as a luxury car.
