I don't think you can beat my mpg
i have 16.1 mpg for my last full tank of gas. Filled it up with 16.7 gallon(93). here are the stats
2010 base auto, drove around 2 months with 1324 miles
255.3 miles with 13 miles range (gas left in the tank), so i guess it adds up to 268 miles for the whole tank.
avg speed 13mph, oil life 70%.
i went on to highway only 3 times with this tank. about 130-150 highway miles with some traffics.
around 100-120 miles city driving, nyc city driving that is. had to stop for all these traffic lights every two blocks

Come to NY and you'll see that your normal MPG will drop considerably. I am averaging about 16.5 mpg on my last fill-up. My average speed is only around 11 mph. The highest mpg I averaged driving here in New York is around 19.7 mpg and that was me being light on the foot. If Bill Gates drove a Bugatti as a daily driver in NY, he'll go broke lol.

Yikes, on the other end of the spectrum I got 36 mpg with a loaner, based off of both the MID and the gas pump.

Back then I didn't believe the I4 mpg could go lower to 20 or sub 20.
I created a thread posting about mpg a while back and at that time, mine was average of 29.x mpg, other beat me pretty bad with 30+.
But that was my first 3000 miles, lately, recently, ...., my average drop significantly down to 25.5mpg. I'm on the same distance, same load, same fuel grade (93), if i drive grandma-tically the whole tank, I can get about 27mpg, but if i just a little aggressive, it will be 25mpg or below.

The killer is stop and go traffic. I took a specific route 3 times in a row, the first time thanks to nasty long stop and go I got 19.6MPG
Same route no stop and go I got close to 32MPG
Same route typical normal stop and go I got 26MPG.
The killer of MPG is sitting idle in traffic and having to stop often.
