First post here!

I'm shopping around for my first Acura. I'm looking for a new 4-cylinder 2011 TSX Tech. There seems to be a shortage of these cars due to the earthquake as the three dealers around here do not have many of them to sell and are not willing to negotiate that much.

The best I've got on a silver/ebony is 33k ($500 less than MSRP). This car already has the body moldings package installed (I don't want it but have no choice, dealer says it's $350). What do you think I should do? Should I pull the trigger or wait for a better offer may be later this year?

Hopefully, I'll be posting a lot more here after I get my new TSX

To be honest, it really depends on your location.

I know east coast sell theirs less compared to west coast.

Best thing to do is look up all the acura dealerships online in a 100miles radius and then use the lowest price to bargain with your nearest dealer.

If you can wait, wait. In 2 more months the supposed 2012 versions and new shipments should be out and then you can have your choice of car you want.

I got my 4cyl 2011 TSX TECH for $31k before taxes and fees with bargaining.

I'm located in Seattle, WA. I want a black on black with auto transmission. Since I couldn't find a black on black, I'm considering "graphite luster metallic", "forged silver metallic" and "basque red pearl" on black as well.

If I get a good deal, I may consider other colors as well.

Graphite Luster is an excellent color. I recommend you go with that if you can.

I live in NYC. I got my 2011 Acura TSX Auto With Tech in Black with Ebony leather for $32,000 before tax/title.

I heard the 2012 models are coming out soon. I think I'll wait for those to arrive. I don't think I really want to pay 33k for a TSX..
