Wow this is some sad shit. I feel so bad for this guy. I hope he gets his money back or his car or something...from the couple of pages I read, this kid's parents are loaded...don't know why they don't see the wrongness of the situation and try to make it right. Instead they're all just lawyering up and seemingly trying to just help themselves. If he really didn't know it was stolen, fine, but at least try to work with the OP to make things right. I really hope things work out for Kyle...

I hope he goes after the kid for all that he's worth, but it sucks that he's still going to lose all the stuff that was on his car, and has to delay his car-buying experience...

Its crazy, one of the guys in this group Masstuning knows him personally and he was saying how this guy is looking up, but his finances are really low right now...i cant believe someone could even do this...it boggles my mind, i made an account just so i could tear him a new one

That thread is hilarious based on the stupidity of all concerned. What is wrong with this generation - have they lost all ability of rational thought?
I can think of several people that need to charged criminally and civilly.
We can start with the seller who knowingly sold a car with a forged VIN. Continue on to the dealership who found the problem, failed to report this to the authorities while they had the car in their possession and the new owner for general stupidity.
Me? I'd be sitting on the cops to charge the seller; I'd be on the phone with the kid's school to impound the car and I'd be suing the dealership.
