HID foglight suggestions
Hey guys, new member here!, just picked up my 2012 TSX special edition in BWP. Love the car! Im just wondering what you guys think would look better for the fog lights, because im converting to HIDs. 3000k yellow, or go with 6000k? I made up my mind for the headlights and go with 6000k, but im still sitting here debating on the fogs. So I'm looking for some suggestions!
What do you guys have on your cars? What do you think would look better? 6000k all around, or 6000k top 3000k bottoms?
Thanks guys!

well, honestly, i LOVE the stock headlight hids..theyre perfect. But I just ordered some 3000k hids for the foglights and its gonna look sick! I wouldnt want the same lights all around the car, but thats just me..Check out some pictures before you make up your mind. And anything is really better than stock

have you tried the search button? have you bothered looking at the photo threads where so many people have pictures of various combinations? if not, stop being lazy! seriously. not to be a dick, but i gotta be a dick here

well, it was also a big decision for me, but the reason i went with yellow is because i thought of this: when youre driving and pulling up to your house, your friends will definitely see that its you. because not every car has foglights that are yellow. It just makes your car "unique" if you know what i mean. The white will just blend in with the rest of the cars...and pictures dont really help because the white balance is off in almost every photo, and half of them are too dark...

and plus you can be mad type jdm y0 with your yellow fogs
i went with yellow fogs, i have only yellow laminx on them and have a 3000k hid kit laying around my house for months cuz ive been too lazy to install them.
Personally i would keep the stock hids cuz the stock 4300k wavelength of light provides the highest output, so in a sense you would be "downgrading" by going to 6000k.

Im going to keep my stock hids, its just that most of my friends, who drive white 09+accords, and 240s all have 8000k hids, looks really nice imo. But I dont wanna have the same look as them, thats why i was thinking jdm yellow haha. but yea my car is white as well and i dont know if yellow would look "right" ya know?!

well, also think about where you live. If you get a lot of fog, yellow is the only light that will shine through..white will just show a wall.. and my car is also white and im thinking that yellow is gonna be sick! cant wait till my hids finally come..

Three Wheelin'
i used to have yellow fogs on all my cars but the problem is the in severe weather my low beam 5000k hid creates so much glare that i have to turn them off and hence disabling the fogs as well. there are wiring mods that will keep the fogs on but i dont want to void warranty or cause any issues to help me drive once a year with fogs on. plus street lighting (they are yellow) at where i live is really good and you can even drive at night here with just drl on no problem. I also didn't notice any improvements with yellow fogs, it still created glare in the fog but not as bad as low beams. So i switched to 6000k for aesthetic reasons and i'm very happy.

I live here in Houston, fog isn't to much of a problem around here. Other than that, we occasionally have severe rain problems to where it is hard to see haha. I'm kind of leaning towards yellow just to be different from everyone else.

Yellow fogs are awesome, but look bad with orange reflector headlght corners. I switched to projector hid bulbs super white 6000k until I figure out a way to clear out my corners, after that I'll go back to old yeller!

QUOTE=myMRMARK;13561357]What brand of 6000k did you purchase and where?[/QUOTE]
DDM Tuning. They have their own website. Great products, relatively cheap as well.
Just the photo bro, at first I wanted to keep my own HIDs but yeah they're 6000k. DDM tuning is the brand!
