I know a little bit. You know how pictures are sometimes hung with a larger diameter hole at the start and then a small channel to slide the tack up so that it can't come out? Well thats how the molding is held in place. I know if you start from the back of the car and push forward you will release the first part. I think there's a total of 4-5 clips holding it in. It's fairly easy.

Isn't there an open recall for these moldings? At least for my car there was. Took it to the stealership and got brand new ones put on for free.
